Holiday Greetings • December Update

Hello Friends, Colleagues, Students and Family,

Wishing you a warm holiday season! It has been a year of continuing work for me in my role as interim chair of vocal arts. I love the thriving atmosphere of Boston Conservatory. It is a thrill to support opera, song recitals, choral programs, guest artist events and to work with students and colleagues, each on their own path! In 2024 I travelled to yoga retreats, Alexander Technique conferences and voice conferences where I gave a number of workshops and masterclasses.

NATURE SPEAKS

I AM STILL HERE

As the events of the year seem to fling us out of our orbit, I turn to the dependable sights, sounds and smells of nature. Autumn's colors appeared on cue and seemed to say, "The world struggles. I am still here."

I try to get through each day moment by moment, appreciating what and where I can. Friends. Family. Music.

THE GIFT OF EASE

Consider taking an Alexander Technique lesson, or a series of lessons, to reacquaint yourself with the inherent support and spaciousness within yourself. Find your center, free yourself of tension. Slow down and breathe. It's a great time to give yourself, your friends and family, the gift of ease.

I have limited space in my voice studio. Please reach out if interested.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I wish you many

moments of grace and beauty in the year ahead!
